Live Broadcast Venue

The virtual conference will be “broadcast live” and streamed on MS Teams from the Iris Room Studio at Emperors Palace on the 21st and 22nd of April 2021 by EventCast (Pty) Ltd (www.eventcast.co.za) and Emperors Palace (www.emperorspalace.com).

 

The speakers will be presenting the topics from the Iris Room, a newly built, state of the art, “Acoustically Treated, LIVE Video Broadcast Studio” designed to communicate, interact, and broadcast presentations virtually online.

Delegates are to ensure that Proof of Payments are to be submitted to conference@iafci.co.za on or before 22 March 2021 to benefit from the discounted rates.

Delegates are to ensure that Proof of Payments are to be submitted to conference@iafci.co.za on or before 16 April 2021 to secure their participation in the conference. 

Registration – Corporate discounts

Delegates are required to ensure that a registration form is completed for each delegate.

Registration – General  

 

  • Each delegate is to complete all sections of the registration form

  • On receipt of registration form, and invoice will be forwarded to responsible person reflected on registration form

  • On receipt of invoice, Proof of Payment to be submitted to conference@iafci.co.za

  • All speakers (Free tickets) will be provided a link free of charge to participate in the virtual conference.

  • All delegates (Paid tickets) are requested to ensure that they log on to the live broadcast at least 5 minutes before the start of the virtual conference.

  • All speakers and registered delegates, once payment is confirmed, will be provided with the link to access the virtual conference 24 hours prior to the start via email. 

 

Questions and Answer Sessions

 

  • After each presentation delegates will be afforded an opportunity to ask questions on the MS Teams platform

  • Questions will be reviewed by a moderator

  • Selected questions will be posed to the presenter to respond to

  • Remaining questions not address during the conference will be forwarded to all presenters

  • On receipt of the presenter responses, delegates will be emailed all responses

 

Lucky Draw Prizes

 

At the conclusion of the virtual seminar the President of IAFCI South Africa – Gauteng Chapter will disclose the details of the delegates that are to be awarded the prizes. It is important that all delegates remain in attendance until the conclusion of the virtual conference as set out in the program. All delegates awarded prizes are to ensure that their correct delivery addresses are provided for the Chapter to arrange that the prizes are delivered to each winning delegate.

 

Certificate of Professional Development (CPD) Points

 

Delegates will earn a maximum of 10 CPD points, as approved by IAFCI International Office. After an audit been conducted, delegates will be issued CPD certificates confirming their attendance. CPD points will be issued to delegates based on the time logged onto the conference.

 

Video of Virtual Conference

 

All delegates interested in obtaining a copy of the live broadcast are requested to submit their request to conference@iafci.co.za. Delegates will be advised on how they can obtain a copy of a video of the virtual conference.

The IAFCI South Africa – Gauteng Chapter will not be held liable or responsible for any line connectivity experienced by delegates to access the live broadcast. Each delegate is to ensure that they have the required connectivity to be able to participate in the virtual conference, as to ensure that they qualify for the CPD points to be issued.
